Sunday, May 23rd is the birthday of the Christian church.
The ancient Jewish church celebrated Pentecost (Greek word for fifty)
or the Harvest Feast 50 days after Passover.
Christians celebrate this day because the Holy Spirit visited the disciples
and many others gathered in Jerusalem (Acts 2).
