Our youth group is for ages 7th to 12th grade. They meet weekly during the Sunday School hour after worship for topical discussions. They also do quarterly activites such as a Halloween Party, Christmas play, Snow Tubing, Bowling, Movie Night and others. There is always plenty of food and great snacks!
The youth especially enjoy doing local service projects with Feed My Starving Children and Operation Christmas Child. See the Current Happenings for Families page for current details.
Confirmation for youth is offered by Pastor Barb when there is a group of 8th & 9th graders.
With adult leaders and parent input, the youth look forward to planning an out-of-state mission/work trip every other year. They have been to several states, most recently to Lead, South Dakota and Midland, Michigan with Group Work Camps. They do several fund raisers during the year to raise money so all students who want to participate can do so without too much financial burden on the family.
